Deborah Mok, chef and owner, was born and raised in Singapore – melting pot of many Asian cultures and crossroads between the East and West, where food and eating is nothing less than a national obsession.
Deborah opened the Wild Ginger in 2002 with the vision of sharing this obsession and love of the sublime flavors of the food of Asia and beyond with those who live and travel to the Central Coast, a place she now calls home.
Here at the Wild Ginger, our passion is food – and it is all about the food – from searching for the freshest ingredients from local farmers and seafood purveyors to remaining true to the regional flavors that inspire our recipes.
We hope those who dine with us derive as much enjoyment from our food as we do in lovingly crafting each dish that leaves our kitchen.
